CBI m-Passbook

The CBI m-Passbook serves as a digital alternative to traditional bank passbooks, enabling users to monitor and manage their financial transactions conveniently on their smartphones. To access it, simply log in with your Customer Information File (CIF) number and registered mobile number; a One-Time Password (OTP) is then sent for verification to the associated mobile number.

The user-friendly interface allows for effortless browsing through account statements. Security is enhanced with biometric login capabilities, ensuring that financial information remains private. Additionally, the app offers the advantage of storing a personal ledger directly within its database, granting fast and easy access to your financial data, which is also available offline for convenience.

Additional features include advanced filtering options—such as transaction date, remarks, amount, and transaction type—to help locate specific entries. Organize transaction entries with ease by sorting them in ascending or descending order and adjust the visibility by changing the number of transactions per page. It also allows users to set a default account for quick access and customize the passbook by tagging transactions to their personal ledger.

Furthermore, the CBI m-Passbook comes equipped with a built-in feature that facilitates the sharing of account and transaction details via SMS, email, and other methods, enhancing usability for communicating financial information when needed.
